It is easier to teach someone how to ride a bike by showing them, versus only explaining to a person how to ride. One of the reasons why math has been one of my least favorite subjects was because it forced me to physically do many problems in order for me to understand it, and I was lazy. You may be able to eventually add your own finesse to it.
