Engaging Staff Activities

An integral key to success is keeping your team motivated.  One way to keep the team motivated is to integrate fun into daily activities.  Below are some ways to make that happen:

 Virtual Football

 Objective:  To outscore the opposing team through a series of activities that yield points. 

 

 How to Play:      Choose two team captains.  Allow them to draft their team. Determine the length of the game (ex, one day = 1 Qtr).  Score points by making the activity that is set forth.  Activities are determined by the commissioner (mgmt, or whoever is running the game).

Pop Darts:  This is a fun and exciting way to release some steam in the office by “throwing something and having fun with it.

 

Objective:    To have fun by landing darts on the pictures of teammates.

 

Materials Needed: Poster-board or cork board, 19 foam circles, 19 pictures, glue,  6 metal darts, sharpie

 Take 19 pictures of people that may become friendly-fire.  Paste pics onto the foam circles.  Find a location where the darts can fly without harming anyone.  Align foam circles so that they resemble a traditional dart board.   Place a point value on each circle.

 

How to Play:  Dart throws are earned through activity that is achieved.  For example,

Darts are thrown at a time of the day that is determined by management.  The winner can be determined either by the point value, or everyone that throws and lands is a winner.
